As companies may provide uniforms for their employees and organizations get sponsors, students' school uniforms continue to be a burden of parents. One politician agrees on this saying that while wearing a school uniform may already be a pain for students, they are expensive pain on the part of parents. They complain of the expensive price while anxious of the quality of products which they are compelled to buy.
The problem comes behind the monopoly of the manufacture. From the simple shoe strings to the elaborate embroidering and emblazoning, parents should handle waving checkbooks. And how much would that cost? BBC reports August of last year the average cost parents must shoulder for their children's school uniform. According to Children's Secretary Ed Balls of England, a primary school kid would need an average of £683 a year. A secondary student on the other hand, would need £1,195 compared to the average of £280 in 2006. Do you think parents have a reason to complain?
It was mentioned in the outset that companies provide their employees with uniforms. That, however, is contrary to what seemed to have happened within Polo Ralph Lauren more than seven years ago. An employee took the company to court because of allegedly forcing the sales staff to buy the latest outfits for the benefit of keeping its immaculate gloss. The complainant claims this strategy cost her £20,000 in over five years. Looks like Polo Ralph Lauren got free walking advertisements from regular customers.
The marine officer uniforms also are far too expensive, including set of inner clothes, pair of boots, and Navy Federal uniforms for over $700. That's aside from the sword and patent leather accouterments which are necessary when you are the officer of the day. The saddest part of these all is that marines don't have uniform allowance. It's basically up to the officer if he or she takes the uniform supply through loan or pay it cash.
From among our health care professionals, the branded medical uniforms could get considerably high, although custom made plus size nursing uniforms can get even higher. Nonetheless, they still fall behind the excessively expensive designer uniforms as well as corporate uniforms.
