I have purchased both Russell Athletic and another slightly more expensive brand to compare, and to my surprise, the Russell shorts both Dri-Power and the Mesh options are not only slightly cheaper, they fit better and the quality is better as well

Very comfortable

Boy are these comfortable. Silky soft and light weight making them so comfortable on hot days.

Good athletic shorts

I really enjoy these shorts. They are lightweight, easily washable and fit well. I wear them all day sometimes, especially in very hot weather. I use them primarily for pickleball and walking my dog. So far, they seem to be durable as well.
