Thanksgiving is a special and great holiday and it is very important because it's not about us, it's about giving thanks and showing our gratitude to HIM. Giving thanks is all we can do for what He has done for us and will continue to do. Thanksgiving isn't just another holiday, but it should be an act, an act that must occur everyday.
One of the reasons that I thank GOD is His presence in my life. I really feel His presence in all my endeavors and trials. He gave me strength and courage to overcome problems which I have encountered. He gives me inspiration and hope. I thank God for making me us a part of His creation.
I truly thank GOD for my family. I'm so blessed He gave me a family that I have today ? a family that makes me happy and sincerely accepts me for what I am. I admit there's no perfect family in this world. What is important is that they are always there to support me and give encouragement in times of needs and pains, ready to accept me for whatever I do, and ready to listen to all my stories, even though they're not interesting and no one who'd love to listen to it. I thank GOD for giving me a family that's proud of me and believes in me.
I thank GOD for giving me friends, who are also there at all times ? sparing me attention and care.
I thank GOD because I'm so blessed. Even though there are no such perfect thing that happened to me. Perfect is just a feeling that we feel when we are happy despite of all the trials that we face.
"No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is GODs will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. And Ephesians 5:20 says, And you will always give thanks for everything to GOD the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." And as David says in Psalms 35:18, Then I will thank you in front of the entire congregation. I will praise you before all the people
We have lots of reasons to be happy and to be thankful to GOD. Even in the midst of trials and sufferings we still have to thank God because He has reasons for everything. We still have to find a happy moment even in times of sorrows, because it is in trials that we become stronger and more mature. God just want to mold and shape us because He has better plan for us.
As James 1:2-3 stated Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. We should even praise God for all the things we dont want to praise him for, because our trials are proofs that God is still working within us. I thank GOD for everything?.
