Hot tea made of turmeric with spicy ginger root can help amazingly loosen mucus from clogged nasal passages, relieve sinus pressure, and allow you feel better. Moreover, ginger root offers calming effect to an upset stomach.

8. Take Vitamin C

Vitamin C, in the form of a capsule, liquid or other forms, is an effective immune booster. Studies suggest that Vitamin C helps the body improve your overall health by resisting immune system deficiencies. Tea made of black peppers would be an excellent choice since the ingredient is loaded with Vitamin C, helping fight free radical damage, colds, and flu.
